TERMS & CONDITIONS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 2024:

INSTALL REQUEST TIMES / DATES 

  • Installation requests made online through the ORDERS page are automatically scheduled ahead of requests sent via email/text. 

  • Install requests must be made by 2:00pm to request installation for the next business day (Locally only, if our schedule allows). 

  • Install requests made on Fridays will go up on the following Monday (for standard signs in our regular service area).  

  • Our services are usually the next business day when our schedule allows ( unless the order is for a larger sign install or outside of our standard service area)

  • Sign installations and removals may be delayed during severe weather conditions 

SIGN PLACEMENTS 

Sign placement will be as specifically instructed by the customer as possible, or, in the absence of specific instructions, placement in the best possible location as determined by our installer at the time of installation. Removal and new install requests at a different location on the property will be an additional installation charge.

  • The customer understands that signposts may not be installed in exact locations and can vary to avoid underground or above-ground obstacles. Installers and Elevation Signs are not liable for Irrigation lines.

  • Signpost relocation by a customer without approval is strictly prohibited and will be subject to additional charges if we aren't able to find the post at the time of removal.

  • Our installers will do their best to place signs in the most visible locations with safety and obstructions in mind. 

  • Specific instructions must accompany requests that do not have a visible house number. 

  • To avoid miscommunication please attach a map, specific instructions, or place a marker in the ground so that we know exactly where to place it. 

  • If a sign is refused at the time of installation due to Strata regulations or homeowner disapproval, the customer will be charged the full installation price for the trip

REMOVALS

  • Removals occur twice a week in Penticton and area- or at our soonest convenience after receiving a removal request.

  • Outside of Penticton, they will be removed within a week at our convenience. 

  • It is the client’s responsibility to notify us when the sign is to be removed.

  • Local removals are $10 / Out-of-town removals are $10 plus (.35/km) 

LOSS OR DAMAGES 

  • Elevation Signs are not liable for the loss or non-recovery of for-sale signs and toppers. 

  • The customer understands that they will be responsible for all repair and replacement costs to sign posts on advertised sites caused by theft, vandalism, and weather conditions. Repairs and replacements will be done at the customer's request at a standard fee (non-recoverable posts from theft or vandalism will be charged a $50 replacement free) 

  • Any theft or vandalism of posts on-site during the time of its lease will be the responsibility of the customer.

BILLING & PAYMENTS 

  • Our office will email monthly statements  (1st business day of the month for previous months' services) which are due upon receipt.

  • Credit Cards are processed within 2-4 business days after initial statements have been emailed out and a 2.5% processing fee is added to each credit card payment.

  • Please request a CC Authorization form if you wish to have your bill processed automatically. 

  • Seasonal Rate increases of $10 per install will occur in winter months to account for the added materials, time, and effort of cold weather and ground conditions.

  • For clients wishing to pay by credit card, a 2.5% processing fee will be added. If clients prefer to pay by e-transfer, please be sure to submit that payment by the due date outlined in the monthly email.

  • Please check your statements to ensure that all post rentals on your statement are accurate and still active listings. If the post had been removed for any reason and we were not made aware OR if you forgot to request removal, we can remove only one rental charge from your statement if it is still within the 30-day timeline, but can not refund post rentals past 30 days. Please contact our office if there are circumstances out of the ordinary to discuss. 

SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING 

  • It is implied that Elevation Signs has permission to use the photos of sign installations & approved realtor logos on our social media and website unless the realtor or brokerage has contacted us in writing to opt out of the complimentary marketing service.

These terms and conditions have been updated as of January 15th, 2024, and are subject to change.

Any account/terms changes will be updated on our website and sent by email with monthly billing statements.
